1月10日，加拿大Baycrest Health Science 首席执行官William E. Reichman、老年和脑健康创新中心业务发展总监Raymond D. King，中国事务顾问JasonKuo 等一行，在首医大副校长王晓民、北京脑重大疾病研究院郑宏伟、罗玲的陪同下来访北京宣武医院。院长赵国光、党委副书记李嘉及相关科室代表参加了此次交流与合作洽谈。

李嘉书记从医院历史、规模、人力资源、设备、获得荣誉等方面介绍了医院工作。王晓民对首医大及北京脑重大疾病研究院情况做了简要介绍，强调了科研院、所之间开展国际合作的重要意义。WilliamE. Reichman 介绍了Baycrest 的基本情况和开展的重点工作。我院专家代表陈彪、张兰、唐毅、卢洁等与外宾就加拿大老年和脑健康创新中心项目进行了交流。

王晓民指出，老龄化是全球性的挑战，在双方合作中期待能有高水平的科研项目产出。赵国光表示双方有着共同的背景和目标，未来可以开展更加广泛、深入的合作。
